 1. How do I use the e-transfer recharge card?
1. At online stores, enter the 16-digit card number and password on the settlement screen to make a payment.
2. At real stores, pass the card to a store clerk at a checkout counter to read it and make a payment after confirming the amount.
3. Regarding payments on delivery, pass the card to a delivery person to read the QR code with a cell phone and enter the password to make a payment after confirming the amount.

 2. How do I charge the e-transfer recharge card?
It can be charged at convenience stores as well as through banks or post network ATMs,
online or mobile banking services, online banks, and settlement agencies’ cell phones via the “Charge e-transfer card” section of the e-transfer’s website. For details, refer to “Charge e-transfer card”on the e-transfer recharge website.
 3. How long does it take before the money is ready to be used after being charged?
If you charge the card with money through Japan Net Bank, it will be ready to use immediately after completion of the transfer process. If you charge the card with money through other banks between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., it will be ready to use once an e-mail that notifies the completion of the operations at financial institutions is delivered. If you charge during the hours except for the above, the charge is completed when e-mail is delivered during the morning of the following business day. If you charge at convenience stores, it takes a few hours until you receive a notification e-mail after completion of the operations. If you charge using settlement agencies’ cell phones, you can use the charged amount on completion of the operations.  4. Is a service charge or consumption tax applied to charge the card?
If you charge the card through a bank transfer, it requires the bank transfer fee specified by financial institutions to charge the card. If you charge at convenience stores, neither the service charge nor consumption tax are applied.
 5. What should I do to cancel the charge that I applied for at convenience stores?
The charge reservation is automatically cancelled seven days after receiving an e-mail that notifies the completion of the charge reservation made at convenience stores. You can make a new application by reserving the charge at convenience stores from the login screen without waiting for the former reservation to be cancelled.
 6. What is the difference between the e-transfer recharge card and the e-transfer
   recharge junior card?
Since the e-transfer recharge card is intended for corporations and individuals twenty years old and above, people underage cannot purchase it. The card can be used at all e-transfer member stores.
The e-transfer recharge junior card is intended for individuals under twenty years of age. Anyone including people underage can purchase it, but the card cannot be used to purchase liquor, cigarettes, and adult content.

 7. How do I earn the usage point?
You can earn one point for every 200 yen you spend. Since the point is automatically added to the balance, you don’t need to perform any troublesome transfer works or procedures.

 8. How do I confirm the balance of the e-transfer recharge card?
To confirm the balance, log into the e-transfer website and go to the “Confirmation of balance” section.

 9. Is there any upper limit for the amount spent with the e-transfer recharge card?
No, there isn’t. You can spend as much money as you charged. Protecting the unused balance through the balance protection service enables you to manage the balance with a sense of security.
10. What is the balance protection service?
The balance protection service is a configuration for protecting the balance that was charged by the cardholder. This service prevents you from spending too much money and transfers the balance to a new card even if the card is lost or stolen.

11. Can I transfer the balance to other e-transfer recharge cards?
Yes, you can transfer the balance to other e-transfer recharge cards.

12. Can I send money to my friends and acquaintances who received the e-transfer
   recharge card as a present?
Yes, you can send money to your friends and acquaintances if you know their card numbers.

13. Is there an expiry date for the e-transfer recharge card?
No, there isn’t.。
14. Can the e-transfer recharge card be cashed or refunded?
No, cashing or refunding the card is prohibited by law.
15. Can I get a receipt when I use the e-transfer recharge card?
Please check with the store where you used the card. The e-transfer company does not issue receipts. However, if you register your e-mail address with us, a card statement is sent to you. Your usage history can be viewed on our website.
